Union, Progress and Democracy (UPyD) in Cartagena has lamented the poor coordination of public safety being conducted by the City Council in the county.
In this regard, stressed all problems caused along this year, from blocking the procession at Easter, until the incident occurred in early September in the Cabo de Palos market, through the lack of security during all summer in various districts of Cartagena.
All these problems are an example of the lack of coordination city living, a negative in security and a lack of respect, not only to citizens, but also for tourists and businesses that suffer the consequences as well as the agents that are service.
It is unacceptable that the City of Cartagena remove the safety devices without following proper planning, effective summer removing the people to take to the beaches and in return, and off-season, leaving a tiny and insufficient representation in them.
Given the imminence of the Carthaginians and Romans parties, we require the City a major effort to ensure safety, including the planned location and control botelleo areas and live music with DJ as well as health care and hygiene of these areas.
Finally, from Cartagena UPyD we wish the best service to our Local Police, Civil Protection and other agencies for the holidays, appealing to the professionalism of the City Government, to adequately reinforce those safety.
