Cartagena Local Police within the local control campaign has recalled products at risk by handling or ingestion.
It is considered that a product is unsafe when, under conditions of normal use or reasonably foreseeable conditions including duration and commissioning, installation and maintenance, this risk, if only minimal, inconsistent with the product's use, considered inadmissible regarding the protection of the health and safety of persons.
Police interventions have been conducted in three facilities in the municipality of Cartagena after particular requirement as victims by the consumption of confiscated in question.
The seized items are classified as serious health risk products within the Alert Network issued by the National Consumer Institute under the Ministry of Health and Regional Policy and Equality.
The aim of the campaign is i nterceptar and withdraw from sale to the public all that do not meet current safety standards.
The seized items have been two types of toys and candy.
One of the toys was a grinder light flying with choking hazards and poisoning, and button batteries easily accessible, which is a danger to children.
