The Community supports companies that invest in innovation and technological development as an engine of growth (03/09/2013)

The Minister of Industry, Enterprise and Innovation, José Ballesta, accompanied by the Mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, today visited the company facilities Eupinca, SA, manufacturer of paints, varnishes and enamels under the brand TKROM, has in the industrial Cabezo Beaza for the latest technological advances incorporated recently.

José Ballesta said, "is a business model based on continuous innovation, incorporating the latest technological advances in the field," which he said has led the firm to be among the top three in terms of production volume national.

Eupinca ANADECO belongs to that associated with 27 companies from painting and decorating, and has over 2,000 product references.

It also has 300 outlets for the distribution of paints, allowing them to be present throughout the Spanish territory, as well as Andorra and Portugal.

Reindustrialisation Fund

The Minister visited the new facilities that the company has put in place to optimize its processes and that were financed with aid from industrial initiatives Reindustrialisation Program, which jointly manage the Ministry of Industry and the Autonomous Community through Development Institute.

The Murcia region in 2012 received more than 27 million Reindustrialisation Fund, which has distributed more than 100 companies, as today visited the counselor Ballesta.

Highlights include the 13 million that went to the region of Lorca, particularly affected by the earthquakes of 2011.

These figures show that last year the region received almost 10 percent of total funds awarded for Spain.

All these investments have allowed the maintenance of jobs in companies benefited and also has created about 110 new jobs.

The Minister of Industry, Enterprise and Innovation also praised the initiative of the company which is currently in the process of international expansion.

In it, he said, "is expanding worldwide but maintains its production facility in Spain, because this is where the technological base, innovation and research."

"The tripod of internationalization, innovation and industrialization can be seen in this company," he said.

Also, José Ballesta highlighted the commitment of the firm to quality in the manufacture of its products.
