Neighborhood Association San Fulgencio de Pozo Strait, in collaboration with the city of Cartagena, has called the Musical Composition Contest XXII of Well Strait Pasodobles Villa, offers a first prize of 2,000 euros, two diplomas, for the second and third.
It is open to all composers who wish, s in fee.
The compositions should be, "PASODOBLES" original and unpublished, understood as those that are newly created than copying, modification or other existing version, and have not been broadcast by any media or edited by any record label or publisher, and without having previously entrusted to their interpretation any orchestra or band, be a cause for disqualification of the work the disclosure of it, or its presentation before the opening proclamation and stated in these rules.
The form of the work will be the PASODOBLE in any of its various forms and under Band template detailed in the Annex.
Works should be submitted in five copies in size A-3 or A-4 and a single copy of individual material () of the corresponding work, and each of the instruments of the template.
With scores in that either the name or pseudonym of the author, but only and necessarily the chosen title will be submitted in a sealed envelope whose exterior bearing the slogan chosen, containing within it a note in which repeated the same slogan and entered the full name, address, national identity card or passport and phone number of the author.
Also sworn statement that the work is original and unpublished.
Works must be written in black and clear graphics without amendments or deletions, being equally valid printed by computer system.
The reception of the works will end on November 16, 2013 at 21:00 pm.
The works shall be submitted in the prescribed time, to the Neighborhood Association San Fulgencio de Pozo Strait (Avenida de la Fuente N ° 40 CP 30594. Pozo Strait. Cartagena. (Murcia, Spain).
A five-member jury of recognized prestige in the world of music, whose composition will be announced in due course, make the selection of the works presented, choosing three who, in his opinion are of higher quality for the consideration of finalists.
In January 2014, coinciding with the festivity "San Fulgencio" Well Strait, will be the final phase "Public Hearing" where Centennial Band Musical Art Society "Santa Cecilia" Well Strait, interpret the finalists, and in the act will proceed to the jury's verdict and awards.
The winning authors retain all rights to the Intellectual Property Act grants authors with respect to public, printed editions, recordings and any other rights recognized by the law
Must be mentioned in the concert programs are interpreted the winning works as well as printed editions, disks, or television broadcasts as appropriate the following legend: "First Prize, Second Prize and Third Prize XXII Music Composition Contest Pasodobles "Villa de Pozo Strait" Cartagena 2014.
The scores of the winning works will become part of the SAM file "Santa Cecilia" and the Hon.
City of Cartagena and may be edited and recorded without permission.
The award winning pieces will be retained in the Neighborhood Association San Fulgencio de Pozo Strait for a period of three months from the date the decision is made public jury.
During this period will be returned to the authors upon request, reimbursement of the cost by mail or personally withdrawing.
After this time the works were destroyed.
The Contest may be canceled if the quality of works it deems the jury.
