Cartagena UPyD regrets that the park "Antonio Oliver" is still unlit public (10/07/2013)

The Coordinator of Union, Progress and Democracy (UPyD) in Cartagena, denounced the lack of lighting in the park "Antonio Oliver", and the gradient of the environment of the park, during these last years the City has not meant anything to her maintenance, thus joining a long list of parks and gardens completely abandoned by the City.

To Egea, neglect facing these public spaces is a continuous practice's Party in Cartagena we see in other districts and councils of the municipality and Los Belones, where residents chose to keep the gardens themselves.

Or in other areas, such as the Barrio San Cristobal, where the City Council chose to eliminate children's area, leaving a cement park, and a dry garden.

He highlighted that this problem is accentuated in the Pearl District, where, besides the dangerous potholes on the roads, have a greenway with bins and playgrounds damaged.

"An important deterioration, lack of maintenance, in a project that has just three years of life" spokesman assured training.

To conclude, Fulgencio Egea, has said it is unacceptable that the City make "deaf ears" with administrative silence to which he submits to the neighbors, to their proposals and complaints to improve neighborhoods of the city.
