Remarkable average for students of the ALDE Connect Program (01/07/2013)

These unemployed people over 25 who have undergone a course back to school and this morning received the diploma from the hands of Employment Councillor and director of the ALDE in the Ceremonial Hall of the Town Hall

The Councillor for Employment, Diego Ortega, and the director of the ALDE, Francisco Valenzuela, have delivered this morning the diploma to the twenty students who have participated in the program connects to the Agency for Local Development and Employment (ALDE).

These unemployed people over 25 who have passed a course in the ALDE and allow them to re-integrate into the education system or vocational training.

This program was launched last year, in the words of Ortega, and was born in order to resume their studies help to those people who for various reasons had abandoned their training. The mayor was pleased with the results.

The main objective of the CONNECT Programme Area ALDE orientation is to prepare students for the entrance exam Intermediate, test successfully passed June 15. And, of the 22 submitted, only one did not has stood the test, while the rest have done with a B average. well It so happens that, these students, 3 were also submitted to examination for the ESO, achieving all the thumbs up.

These students began a program of classroom taught by teachers specializing in the Youth Center and Quarry Training from early February to mid-June, during the Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9.30 to 13.30 hours .

During these months have been preparing test subjects: math, language, geography, history and natural sciences and retaking the lost study habits.

Now it is the task ahead is to further study and may enroll for a Training Course Intermediate and access training to improve their chances of returning to the labor market.

The balance is positive due to its success so from the Agency of Local Development and Employment is already working on the program planning for the p ind call to start in January 2014 and which provides for two shifts, one in the morning and afternoon, to accommodate as many students as possible due to demand generated by this program.
