Juan Antonio Conesa last night crowned his personal challenge to pedal nonstop from Venice to Cartagena, embraced by hundreds of neighbors, first Albujón, and later in the Town Hall Square, celebrated with applause and excitement the arrival of Cartagena cyclist

Cartagena lived yesterday pending a neighbor, Juan Antonio Conesa, more specifically on the achievement of the challenge he had set Cartagena cyclist, pedaling non-stop from Venice to Cartagena, 2,000 miles nonstop, for good cause, to cooperate with APANDA.

The first stop before crossing the goal arc of the Town Hall Square, was the Albujón, Conesa locality which is neighbor, where a thousand people were waiting impatiently for their passage, wearing T-shirts designed for the purpose.

Just spent a couple of minutes, just to greet and hug his family and friends and take a breath to continue, but there was prepared a spectacular reception, organized by the neighborhood, with its president, Ángel Nieto Huertas, head, and the Association of Residents of the town, whose president, Apolonia Soto, neither wanted to miss the feat.

Also attended all social, cultural and sporting the people, with the collaboration of the Department of Sports.

Since there were only 15 kilometers separating the Albujón city center, to successfully complete his feat.

And there, in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, not be alone, again his family and about 600 people were waiting excited to Juan Antonio Conesa, including councilors Sports, Diego Ortega, and Decentralization, Ángel Nicolás Bernal, the activities coordinator Sports of the Department, Eduardo Armada, Apanda Policy and its president, Dolores Sanchez, and a group of hearing-impaired children, their son Mario, are part of this association.
