Gymkhana banners and Flash Mob to celebrate the European Youth Week (30/05/2013)

From May 26 to June 2 marks the European Youth Week, which covers a wide range of events and activities organized in different countries and Spanish regions.

In the case of the Region of Murcia and organized by the Autonomous Community, have been developed throughout the month of May April 2 workshops in different HEI Cartagena, Lorca and Murcia, with the title of Youth and Europe where young secondary and high school students have deepened in a pleasant and attractive in the knowledge of the European Union, its institutions, values ​​and resources juveniles, and know the possibilities of the Youth in Action program.

Also been Europe will be held in short film forums, which have been designed with European-themed short conversation and subsequent discussion.

The main events in Cartagenase held this weekend in collaboration with the Department of Youth, among which one flag and Flashmob Gymkhana.

On FRIDAY, May 31, between 9 am and 11 am, some 150 young people of Murcia, Cartagena and Lorca depart from the Square of the Heroes of Cavite and tour the city divided into groups, in order to find the flags of each of the EU countries, located in landmark buildings, to finally fall into the square of John XXIII.

One of these flags will be located in the Town Hall, where the mayor will receive a youth about 10 hours.

Between 11 and 13.30 hours à gora will be a Youth in the Plaza de Juan XXIII.

This is the simulation of a European Parliament session.

Each youth group will have to discuss, and approve where appropriate, several citizen initiatives previously prepared by them in each municipality.

These initiatives will address topics of special interest among the youth group.

The SATURDAY, June 1, there will be a meeting of European Volunteers from 11 in the morning in the Plaza de Juan XXIII.

In his young Europeans show their experiences as participants in the European Voluntary Service (EVS) and will share their diverse cultures through artwork.

At 13 hours will be held on the same square a Flash Mob.

Consist of urban speech activity on Europe by volunteers, which will conclude with the reading of a manifesto written by young volunteers to raise awareness of the importance of actively participating as European citizens in a more democratic.
