The commemoration of the thirtieth anniversary of the Diabetic Society of Cartagena and its region, Sodicar, tear this afternoon with the reunion dinner to be held at Restaurant La Cartuja (Ctra. Roche-La Union Km 1.5, Old Farmhouse Juárez), from 20.30 hours.
On behalf of the City of Cartagena, assist Councillor for Health, Ángel Nicolás Bernal and Social Care mayor, Antonio Calderon.
During this evening will gather all those who over the years have worked in Sodicar and will be the first of many activities scheduled to mark three decades of existence.
Sodicar is an association which aims to improve the quality of life of patients with diabetes and prevent isolation. In Cartagena there are over 30,000 people with diabetes, of which about 13,000 unaware they have the disease.
