The Department of Social Care organizes this event to be held on April 8 in the clubhouse Square Lo Campano, where is scheduled reading the manifesto, and other activities related to the commemoration
Once again, the Department of Social Services of the City of Cartagena participate in the celebration of International Roma Day, on Monday, April 8, starting at 12.15 hours on the square of the local office of The Campano.
The commemoration of this year has moved to this neighborhood in Cartagena where shared with neighbors, college students Hasdrubal Roma associations and any citizen who wishes to join this recognition to the Gypsy people, their history and their culture. Addition is presented as an opportunity to get a more realistic and accurate picture of this population.
After reading the Manifesto of the Roma 2013, then proceed to fit a giant puzzle whose pieces have been produced by the various associations.
They will also be exposed to the public the different jobs that addresses the importance of education.
Also, attendees will enjoy the photo show that takes a tour of the activities that have been carried out in previous years.
To round off the day, there will be a display of palms and touches of flamenco box.
From the website of the Department of Social Services invites citizens to take a virtual tour through the history, customs and traditions of Roma through the ceremony of the river, and the gypsy anthem corner activities.
All activities are organized by the Municipal Social Services in collaboration with Asprosocu Cartagena, San Pablo Center, Vincentian, Rascasa, Forum Gypsy, Maranatha, O'udar Kalo, College Hasdrubal evangelist Football Group Campano, Neighborhood Association, FAGA and Carthage Association XXI Century.
