Representatives Afibrocar, Lourdes Hospitality, Multiple Sclerosis, Primi Sport Foundation Asylum Store San Pedro, ONCE, Asorcar, Sodicar, Soi Foundation, TP Cartagena, Astus, Assido, Astrade, Afal, Apanda, AECC, tips and Asperger, have maintained this morning in a meeting with Councilman Social Care, Antonio Calderon, and municipal officers of the Local Social Services.
In the same laid the foundations of a coordination and collaboration channels in order to propose the design and development, jointly, a Social Action Plan for Persons with Disabilities, which will include appropriate strategies and actions needed to achieve the objectives.
Currently there are similar plans in cities like Valladolid, Logroño, Santander, Malaga and Burgos, and regional plans in Andalusia, Asturias, Murcia and Madrid.
At the state level there is a plan for the period 2012/2010 and at European level one for the years 2006/2015.
With the implementation of this action will contribute to a better quality of life for people with disabilities and their families, in the context of equal opportunities, non-discrimination and universal accessibility.
