Monday, March 18, was held semi-final String mode XVI edition of the contest between strings and brass, which is organized by the Youth Council and the Conservatory of Music of Cartagena.
The jury was chaired by Luis Ferran Lanz, acting as the technical secretary of the Department of Youth, José María Mercader White, and Antonio Saura and vocal Torres, Raul Cespedes Cascales, Francisco Jesus Perez Sanchez and Paula Ros Bres.
Eleven young performers were selected for the finals to be held next April 15, at 19.00 am in the Auditorium of the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena.
This is Francisco Javier Albarracin Abellán, Christian Casanova Peral, María Laura García Iniesta, Marcos López Martínez, Marcos Eduardo Ferrer Martínez, María José Martínez García, María Carmen Fernández Navarro, David Rodriguez Garcia, Ana Carmen Bruno Sanchez, Javier Valero Lobato and Alexandra Mary Webber Garcia
On Wednesday, March 20, will host the fourth semi-final, this time in the category Piano, from 17.00 at the Conservatory of the city.
Admission is free until all seats.
