On Friday, March 15, will become effective linear rise 3 cents in all urban bus fares to Cartagena, to offset the increase in the CPI and rising fuel prices.
This price update was given by the city of Cartagena last December for the Regional Commission Rates, whose approval has been published this morning in the Official Bulletin of the Region.
Starting Friday the urban bus fares will Cartagena as follows:
- Regular Ticket: $ 1.20.
- Ticket retired: 0.55 euros.
- Bono unemployed: € 0.55 - Bono bus: $ 0.75.
- Retired Special: $ 0.25.
- Large family Special: $ 0.25
The City subsidizes these fees on the actual cost of the service to be more cost effective citizens.
For regular ticket, the actual cost is 1.25 euros, the subsidy stands at 4 percent, in the bus pass subsidy is 40 percent, from 56 percent in rates of unemployed and retirees; and 80 percent in large families and retirees special category.
