The mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, accompanied by the Councillor for Social Care, Antonio Calderon, received this afternoon at the Palace Hall, Senior Citizens Associations of Murcia.
During the reception, Barreiro has encouraged them to repeat this visit so they can continue to enjoy the archaeological and cultural heritage that provides Cartagena.
After the ceremony, the president of the Federation of Associations of Senior Clubs of Murcia, Simon Párraga, the Mayoress has given a plaque with the coat of Murcia, in memory of the way through the city.
A total of 55 people, representing all 75 major groups of Murcia, are visiting the city today to elect the Queen of Over the coming Spring Festival in Murcia. And, today celebrated The great day of the contest, or what is the same, the day together in which they meet each of the candidates.
In the course of the day, which will be accompanied by the president of the Federation of Senior Cartagena, Maria Beteta, visited the Regional Assembly and have had the opportunity to make a tour of the city, such as the visit to Cala Cortina.
Following the receipt of the mayor, and the culmination of the day, held a luncheon at the Golden Lady, where they proceed to the election of the Queen of Elders to the Spring Festival of Murcia.
