The Youth Space of the Youth Council, municipal Youth Comprehensive Care, has published its Annual Report 2012, available at www.cartagena.es / ctjoven in Memory section.
It is apparent that attention to foreigners has risen by 10% over the previous year and by country of origin, highlights Morocco and Ecuador, with the Spaces of Education and Health and Gender those with a higher percentage of foreign young people.
The areas most requested by users remain Youth Space Employment and Housing, Education and Mobility followed.
The crisis continues to affect specially to young people who have difficulty finding employment and to emancipate.
The user profile Young Space-type is similar to previous years: women (56%), stop (54%), who does not study (67%), a Spanish (84%) and is based in the area of the town of Cartagena, Widening and city neighborhoods (Bda. Virgin of Charity, pains, Barreros).
The Memory of Youth Space is not just a collection of activities and care data, intended to be a snapshot of the township youth society, to gain access to their demands and organize programs and activities on the basis of identified shortcomings.
Since he joined the Youth Space activity in November 2006 have been met in person more than 30,500 different people, which is a direct intervention with about 55% of the municipality's population between 16 and 35 years.
Among his main priorities is helping the young to seek job opportunities, resume studies, acquire expertise, social support to young people with family problems, facilitate the search for overseas resources, and all this for free and confidential.
