Around 250 children participated today in the local phase Athletics Playing juvenile category of 11 to 12 years, which is developed within the Program Sports School Age organized by the Sports Department of the City of Cartagena in collaboration with the Directorate General Physical Activity and Sport in the Region of Murcia.
Councilman Sports, Diego Ortega, has witnessed the enjoyment of the students who have held this morning the track Municipal Sports Pavilion.
It also closed the ceremony with the presentation of medals and trophies, accompanied by representatives of the Federation of Athletics and Athletic Club Cartagena.
A total of twenty schools in the town have gathered in this issue with teams in male and female form. Participating centers are as follows: The Incarnation, The valley, San Cristobal, Holy Family, Sacred Heart, La Asomada, Fernando Garrido, San Isidoro, San Antonio Abad, Stella Maris, Narwhal, La Concepcion, San Felix, San Francisco Javier, Virginia Perez, Asdrubal, Poet Antonio Oliver, Virgen del Carmen, San Isidro, Salesians, Luis Calandre.
The Department of Sports, in collaboration with the Athletics Federation of the Region of Murcia, has coordinated a device composed of five technical sports council, athletic 12 judges, 40 volunteers TAFAD, 15 buses for the movement of participants and teachers.
It has also been supported care of Sports Medicine Center of the City of Cartagena.
The UCAM Athletics Club Athletics Club Cartagena and Elcano have controlled trials in the Municipal Sports Pavilion, which consisted of: 10x10 race, jump low obstacle side, from a standing long jump, ball launch, launching a soft javelin, relay 5x1, obstacles and grand prix.
