The Social Construction of La Caixa, today presented to the City Council, in the person of the mayor, Pilar Barreiro, a donation of 5,600 euros to be allocated to various institutions conducting social work in the city, to prepare dinner, lunch and breakfast for people with difficulties during the Christmas holidays.
This event was attended by the Councillor for Social Care, Antonio Calderon and institutions responsible for Caixa, Arturo Llopis, who claimed that since the entity is willing to work with future initiatives such City.
Antonio Calderon, who appreciated the quick response of the body to the request for assistance, has listed the institutions that will be distributed this financial contribution, such as the Good Samaritan Home, Hospitality Santa Teresa, the San Diego Social Dining and Torre Nazareth Home Foundation of San Pedro Asylum Store, in addition to their work throughout the year, at this time celebrating Christmas dinner serving a large number of people in emergency situations, risk or social exclusion.
