The medieval expands to the Castillo de la Concepción (30/11/2012)

A hundred stalls of artisans belonging to XI Medieval Market will be this weekend in the old town, but also such activities conducted at the museum that manages Cartagena Port of Cultures

The Middle Ages and expands this year not only covers the main streets of the old town, but also comes to Torres, where there will be activities throughout the weekend.

Social Care Councilman, Antonio Calderon and other members of the Municipal Corporation, inaugurated this morning the XI Medieval Market will be located in the main streets of downtown until 3 December.

Woodcarvers, glassblowers and soothsayers are some of the main positions that have been located in Plaza de la Merced, Duke Street, Plaza San Ginés, Laughing Square, San Antonio el Pobre, San Francisco square, street and Four Saints Palas street.

We are excited because we see that it is consolidated, this year there are more jobs than ever, 156, said Councilman Social Care, Antonio Calderon.

Among the surprises this year are workshops include wood, molding, glass blowing.

A total of 15 workshops and 35 restoration jobs, not to mention falconry, bread oven and a display of antique torture devices and many more activities for children.

For 11 years the Medieval Market is installed in Cartagena with the aim of revitalizing the center and both Cartagena and tourists could see live performances.
