The Guardia Civil of the Region of Murcia, as part of an investigation aimed at clarifying catalysts thefts have been occurring inside scrapping, has proceeded to the arrest of three people on suspicion of several counts of robbery force.

The investigation catalysts recovered 45 vehicles, after being brought to justice, have been returned to its rightful owner.

In the first research to gather all the information about the possible perpetrators of the acts, the Civil Guard located and identified the owner of a van in which they were finally found a total of 45 catalysts, without the owner could demonstrate their lawful origin , which carried the intervention and brought to justice as both of these parts of the vehicle in which they were transported.

The subsequent steps taken to verify how all catalysts carrying the van had been stolen from an establishment of Huércal-Overa (Almería) dedicated to the scrapping of vehicles, so we proceeded to the arrest of three people allegedly involved in the facts .

Detainee

As part of this investigation, the Guardia Civil has proceeded to the arrest of three people suspected of various crimes of burglary, identified as:

- Bulgarian, 61 years and resident in Cartagena.

- Bulgarian, 64 years old and lives in Cartagena.

- Bulgarian, 51 years and resident in Cartagena.

Effects recovered:

Catalysts have been recovered 45 vehicles, which after being brought to justice, have been delivered to its rightful owner.

Detainees and the proceedings initiated have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 5 of Cartagena (Murcia).
