Memory, Landscape and Planning, new exhibition of Luis González-Adalid at the Palace Hall (01/10/2012)

Memory, landscape, territory, composed of a multidisciplinary project drawings, paintings and photographs intercepted, is the extensive exhibition of recent work by Luis G.

Leader can be visited at the Palace Hall, from September 27, which opened in the presence of the Councillor for Tourism and Sustainable Development, Pazón Carolina, and propoio artist, until 15 December.

The exhibition is the result of the work developed in recent years based on many observations, screenshots and notes, made ​​on horseback or drifts for meaning as their own territory.

It also integrate retrieved images, text, maps and personal toponyms, conjugates in an endless process of symbiosis, and reprocessing created works based on works, and that in turn are intended to be the seed of new works.

Ultimately, quests and encounters, in a natural broad one hand, and the immediacy of the artist's own studio: warehouse or depot where they accumulate and precipitate documents, souvenirs, paper: footprints in short, another experience, also shared in big cities, built over the years.

Memory, landscape, territory, claimed to somehow open contact and direct experience and try to feel, register and add value, so between documented and poetic memory places, manifested in their forms, their encounters and relationships from a distinctly genealogy expressionist and symbolic, that intentionally departs from the usual notion of landscape.

A revitalizing action of what the author loves experiencing sustained in a physical, emotional and intellectual passion, and definitely marked a look through this part of the world.

Parallel to the exhibition is accompanied by a care book / catalog, like a notebook, which includes most of the work exhibited and has had the collaboration of thinkers and writers as: Eduardo Martinez de Pison, Rey Ignacio Castro, Jordi Twelve Eugenio Castro, Antonio Santamaria Solis, Francisco Espinosa and Pedro Carreño Manzano.

Each writes from his particular way of being, seeing and feeling, about our relationship with what surrounds us out: environment, nature, territory, or around us inside: memory, landscape and thought.

From Tuesday to Saturday from 10:30 to 13 hours, and 17 to 19 hours.

Sunday: 10:30 to 13:30 hours.

LUIS Gonza lez ADALID (Luis Leader) (Madrid-Cartagena, 1958)

Cartagenero born in Madrid in Cartagena spent his childhood, adolescence and early adulthood and began his creative activity, doing his first exhibitions and developing some design work sporadically, as posters for the fledgling Cartagena Jazz Festival, the Regional Book Fair, Summers cultural, etc.

Between 1982 and 1985 he was professor Paint Shop People's University of Cartagena.

In 1986, after a long stay in Barcelona, ​​he moved to Madrid, where he lived and worked until the last three years, in which, again from Cartagena, does most of the work which is reflected in this exhibition.

At present, it is developing its activity between Cartagena and Madrid.

He has exhibited extensively in galleries or institutions of Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Lisbon, Florence, Ghent, Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, Asturias, Murcia and Cartagena, regularly participated in international fairs and significant contemporary art exhibitions.

In the field of architecture has been several museum projects and won several awards, both individually and in collaboration with other architects.

His career is complemented by other activities such as designer? First prize ex-aequo the National Contest II Spanish Theater scenery of Madrid, or designer, for various entities such as Spain's National Radio Symphony Orchestra and Choir of RTVE, Radio Outside of Spain, Teatro Real de Madrid, International Festival of Music and Dance in Granada, or the Group of World Heritage Cities, among many others.

Since 1998 he is editor of the collection of contemporary poetry Graphic Zambucho ZMB-Editions, presented at the National Library in Madrid in April 2010, whose section is part drawing and printmaking in batches.

Between 2008 and 2010 idea and coordinates Meetings / Workshops Digital Graphic Creation, in Cartagena.
