The Department of Social Care has arranged for Monday October 1, International Day of Older Persons, a series of events to be held, beginning at 17.30 hours, in the Cultural Hall of CAM on Main Street .
Among other activities, there will be a tribute to the greatest born in 1912 and therefore this year reached a century of life, and the area councilor, Antonio Calderón expressed his appreciation to the older volunteers who participated in the project Chest Experience during the year 2011/2012.
The programming of the event will begin with the screening of a DVD with activities of the elderly, reading the manifesto, Salute to Centenarians, Volunteer Recognition, Romanza Trio Musical aactuación showing Aupa Tuna and Closing Remarks by Councilman Care Social.
