The Civil Guard intercepted three boats with 42 immigrants in the Calblanque (18/09/2012)

So far this year 186 people have attempted illegal entry along the coasts of the Region of Murcia

Two patrol Maritime Service of the Civil Guard intercepted yesterday Monday, September 17, a total of three kinds patera boats that were detected by the SIVE (Integrated External Surveillance Service).

On board these boats traveling 42 men of Algerian nationality who are in good health and who were transferred to the Port of Cartagena where Red Cross health workforce attended them upon arrival.

Four of them claimed to be lower, although oseométricas tests are pending to determine their true age.

The sighting of the first vessel occurred at 16:20 hours, 10 nautical miles (18.5 km) of Calblanque, in Cartagena, and was intercepted just an hour later.

It traveled 14 people.

Half an hour later the same patrol stopped a new boat with 12 people on board.

All were hoisted to the Maritime Rescue boat and taken to the Port of Cartagena for their attention.

Around 18:40 hours there was another sighting, 22 miles south of Calblanque, and about 21:00 pm another patrol intercepted the third patera, in which 16 male immigrants traveling in good health.

They are also the Port of Cartagena trasladadazos for healthcare.

Subsequently, the National Police took over the transfer of such persons to the police station in Cartagena for your attention and for managing records timely expulsion to their country for illegal entry into Spain.

The Civil Guard intercepted 16 boats in 2012

So far this year, has intercepted a total of 16 boats, on board of which traveled 186 people trying to enter illegally in our country by the coast of the Region of Murcia.

Of these 186 immigrants, 178 were men, 7 men and just under a woman.

In the vast majority of cases from Algeria.

During the same time last year, had tried to reach the shores Murcia 12 boats with 178 immigrants on board.

In total, over 2011, the Corps and the State Security Forces took over 282 immigrants, 261 men, 1 woman and 20 children (all boys), who tried to reach the shore aboard 20 boats.
