The programming of the 2012-2013 academic year the Department of Women, is full of activities.
This time, it will impact especially on a local board for coordinating monitoring gender violence, to be presented on November 23 and through regular meetings, the council will work to remedy this situation.
Also, throughout the course, Women develop various activities like workshops, courses and retreats between partnerships, as reported by the mayor Clara Heredia in presenting the program of events.
Although the course will open on October 2, not until the 9th of the month when the first activities are conducted, with the celebration of the Housewives.
The next day, the 10th, Cartagena will host nearly 250 women from across the region to attend the celebration of the Day of Rural Women. During these presentations, rural women will share their problems and concerns and try to find a solution together .
Also, the Department, explained Heredia, has continued stressing basic computer courses to enable women whose cases, now have to find employment, to enter the labor market much more composed.
A total of eight courses taught computer skills between October and April.
As a novelty, impart a course security guard because it is becoming more necessary the presence of women in the control of airports and other buildings for that control to other women or frisk, stressed the mayor of Women.
Furthermore, repeated this year theoretical and practical course of caring for older people by the great employment who have had their students upon completion.
