The Regional Museum of Modern Art (MURAM) claimed primitive art that once recovered and the likes of Pablo Picasso.

The councilor of Culture, Pedro Alberto Cruz, the mayor, Pilar Barreiro, director of the Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno (IVAM), Consuelo Ciscar and curator of the exhibition, Ã "scar Carrascos to, presented this morning shows Indigenous Art Contemporary in Australia.

The exhibition consists of 71 paintings by artists like Liddy Walker Napanangka or Tjapaltjarri Clifford, will be in the MURAM until 28 October.

à ‰ This is the beginning of a collaboration with the IVAM, Cruz noted, since the sample was exposed in Valencia from January to April and reaches Cartagena thanks to a collaboration agreement it has signed with the Ministry IVAM.

The works are mostly by using the technique of pointillism and attempting to give a new image of Aboriginal culture.

In addition, this sample has a novelty with respect to what is discussed above in the IVAM, as confirmed by the curator of the exhibition.

In one of the rooms is a tapestry of Judy Watson, that have not been seen in Spain today.

Most of the 71 artists works that give the exhibition are women, who have not abandoned their natural space.

The integration of these artists is felt especially in his works, as some Indians have decided to leave their region or abandon their purist to share experiences with contemporary painting.

The exhibition will land in 2013 in the Municipal Heritage Museum in Malaga.
