Stopped author of twenty-one person steals in vehicles parked near the Santa Lucia Hospital. (29/08/2012)

All thefts were committed in vehicles parked outside the parking Hospital, under surveillance

The National Police after a permanent deployment of surveillance in the streets near the Hospital Saint Lucia has been the arrest of a person, residing next to the hospital, as the alleged author of the theft of twenty inside vehicles parked on the street mostly Minaret .

Initial investigations began last May, when the Commissioner of Cartagena, after his usual criminological study map of this city, could see that person / s unnamed area had located his criminal conduct in the vicinity of Santa Lucia Hospital .

Specifically, the author of these crimes, had chosen the streets near the hospital said, drawing on family visits to people admitted and avoid paying for parking, had parked their vehicles in the adjacent streets, little traffic and low light , which greatly facilitated the consummation of the crime.

This person always used the same modus operandi, consisting of fracturing the window of the passenger door of the vehicle with a blunt, interior subtracting all kinds of effects, from radio cassette, to GPS systems, CDs, sunglasses and graded, laptops, fishing poles and vehicle documentation.

Since the thefts were not daily, but sporadically, the various inspections and patrols made about the area, were unsuccessful until ordered by the Citizen Security Brigade of the Judicial Police and Commissioner of the National Police Cartagena, a permanent device, the clock, in the vicinity of the streets under the criminal action, which paid off with the arrest of it.

In total the detainee is accused TWENTY-vehicle thefts, all with different damage and theft of multiple effects.

This person, 31-year-old neighbor of Cartagena, will comprise several police arrests for similar offenses, and once processed the mandatory police proceedings, was placed the 27th of the current available to the Police Court.
