The Finance Committee begins the process of absorption by the City PMD (26/06/2012)

The Information Committee of Finance and Home Affairs will meet on Wednesday, June 27, chaired by the councilor of the area, Fatima Suanzes.

The meeting will be held beginning at 0:30 noon in the multipurpose room of the Administration Building of San Miguel.

On the agenda is the proposal of Councillor Rea of Culture, Archaeological Heritage, Education, Women and Sports Celebrations, Rosario Montero on the dissolution of local autonomous body called the Municipal Sports and the assumption of its powers and staff by the City of Cartagena.

Similarly, the commission plans to rule the proposal of local festivities for the year 2013, which will be on 22 March (Good Friday) and 27 September (Carthaginians and Romans) as the autonomous region said Thursday as regional holiday Ghost.

The commission will meet the proposal of Councillor of Finance to take advantage of remaining investments in order to carry out various projects in the Old Town, also taking advantage of improved water and sewerage networks that will undertake the City Council, through the service concessionaire, Aquagest, Arch of Charity, St. Vincent, Laughing Square and Plaza del Sevillano.

Another issue is the inclusion in the municipal budget of 4.5 million subscribers by the City to various municipal providers through the ICO payment plan, the update of contracts from previous years and that were not reflected in the budgets.

Finally, the Commission will address the adoption of general operating instructions of the registration of bills of the City of Cartagena, in order to meet deadlines established by law.
