With these words, Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, who has confessed amateur basketball, congratulated this morning at the Palace Hall to team members Cadet Women, Infant and Pre-Child Female Male, Basket Club Cartagena, which have Regional Champions proclaimed their respective categories.
Female Cadet Championship has already played in Spain and the Child Female will leave on Saturday, June 16 at Lanzarote to play also the national championship.
At the reception also attended the Senior Men's Team players, who got in Guardamar Ascent to the EBA League.
Along with the Mayor, Councillor for Sports, José Cabezos, and President of Basketball Club Cartagena, Pedro Collado, participated in the ceremony in which young athletes are gifted to Barreiro with a bouquet of flowers and a symbolic presentation of trophies obtained.
