The Aging and Disability Unit of the Municipal Institute of Social Services, has organized a meeting of the Film and Tertulia program for the elderly, with a screening of the film Elsa and Fred.
Will be on Thursday 14 June at 10.30 pm in the Cultural Center Luzzy Ramon Alonso, and admission is free by invitation.
The objective of this program is to encourage active participation in cultural events in the elderly.
Elsa and Fred is a Spanish-Argentina co-production, a tragicomedy starring China Zorrilla Uruguayan and Spanish Manuel Alexandre, under the direction of Argentine director Marcos Carnevale.
The film tells the story of two old, Elsa, a woman Argentina pathological liar, manipulative and reckless living in Madrid, and Alfredo, a Spanish widower who moves to same building as Elsa.
After an everyday incident, the two elders begin to know and a romance between them that both see as the last chance for happiness.
