The International Film Festival of Cartagena (FICC) has opened the registration period to participate in the 41st edition of the festival. The films may be submitted until September 10.
A committee will select the best short films to project during the week of the festival (which takes place from 9 to 14 December), and these shorts will be entering the contest.
The requirements to participate can be downloaded from the website of the FICC ( www.ficc.es ), and short can be sent to the office of FICC, located in the building of The Graduate on the street Gisbert, or through the server enabled the website of the festival.
The two modes in which you can participate are the Official Selection Short Film, for both domestic and foreign filmmakers, and MURcine, in which authors are supported only in the Region of Murcia.
As for the awards section of the best short films will receive $ 3,000. In addition, there will be recognition for Best Direction, photography and script.
Furthermore, in section MURcine, first prize Silver Caravel city of Cartagena is 1,500 euros, while the second, Peral Submarine, will be 500 euros.
