Javier Bardem is mindful of the trip he made four years ago with his brother Charles and a group of actors and directors to the Saharawi refugee camps in Tindouf, where they held the V edition of International Film Festival of the Sahara (FiSahara).

The memory of the days he spent with the Saharawi people, with those over 200,000 people who were Spanish and are abandoned in the desert for more than three decades, has resulted in children from the clouds, the last colony, documentary screened as part of the Sea of Music.

The documentary is the second as a producer and actor Canary first as producer Alvaro Longoria Ã. Narrated by Elena Anaya, the documentary attempts to capture every pose, from the leaders of the self-proclaimed Sahrawi Arab à or Morocco and Algeria , the powers like the U.S. or France in the conflict, the Spanish state, which was the former colony Western Sahara, or the United Nations.

The documentary examines the current political turmoil in northern Africa and the responsibility of the Western powers (especially the U.S. and France) through the exercise of Realpolitik (foreign policy based on practical and economic interests rather than ethical or theoretical ) in international political strategies.

These policies have created great instability which finally caused great violence and chaos.

The film focuses on the situation in Western Sahara, Africa's last colony according to the UN, and a region on the brink of war.

The film is a personal journey in which Bardem guide the audience through the tortuous path of global diplomacy and the terrible reality of an abandoned village, seeking to understand how we got into this situation and how it could avoid another war in Africa.
