The Local Government Committee this morning agreed to cease, at its request, the Director General of Security, Carlos Nieto Millan.
As you may recall earlier this week issued the request of Carlos Nieto voluntarily cease to hold office to join his post in Madrid as an inspector of the National Police.
With this decision, Carlos Nieto is raised further progress in their careers after having covered a period in which it has developed the objectives entrusted to him as Director General of Security.

The municipal government has no plans to fill his post with a new appointment.
The powers that until now has been playing will be assumed by Public Safety Councilman Mariano Garcia Asensio.
