A laurel wreath on the day Isidore Maiquez World Theatre (13/03/2012)

On Saturday March 17 starting the activities to celebrate World Theatre Day.

Representatives of the Municipal School of Theatre of Cartagena placed a laurel wreath on the statue of Maiquez Isidoro, located in the Plaza de San Francisco, as a prelude to the activities to be implemented until 29 this month.

World Theatre Day is March 27.

This time the day is special because it marks fifty years since the Municipal Theatre of UNESCO inaugurated on March 27 as World Day for the Performing Arts.

The program of events will continue on 23 with a screening of the movie Noises Off, based on the text of Michael Frayn, Ahead and behind.

It will be at 19 am in the Auditorium of the Municipal Training School, located in Lope de Rueda, Carlos III corner.

In addition, on 26 and 27 at the Cultural Hall of the CAM, on Main Street will print the Whispering theatrical theater with the participation of students in the group of adults of the Municipal School of Theatre.

The function also will be at 19 hours.

On Monday 26 there will be a space devoted to poetry.

At 20 pm in the Auditorium of the CAM classroom students of the University Theatre Hall Senior Umay represent the show Federico Garcia Lorca, who will be accompanied by guitar and singing Pepe de Cadiz.

For its part, the following day, Tuesday 27, the youth group of the School of Theatre will perform in the CAM at 20 hours.

Finally, on Thursday 29 and the hall of the Artillery Park will be held on Match of Improvisation, at 19 hours.
