Continued progress on the architecture as a tourism resource (09/03/2012)

Continue the course on New Architectures in Urban Areas of Historical Interest, organized by the Roman Theatre Museum and the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, under the name TURE ARCHITECTURE DOES A PACKAGE STICO?

His presentations are part of the actions of the European project CULTURE (Unesco Cités of Territoires Urbains Equilibres Laboratoires), which has focused on revealing the role of cultural heritage in historic cities, not only in response to its monumental value, but also as a tool for economic and social development of the city.

Among the project partners, as well as other Mediterranean cities, is the region of Murcia and with it the city of Cartagena.

The last day, Wednesday 14 will close the course José Selgas and Lucia Cano, architects of the Auditorium of El Batel, and will present the winning of the competition for young students CULTURE Architecture for the project.
