It explains that Morata had relatives with mental illness and therefore decided to set à pencils in 1991.

In 1995 he was elected President of the National Confederation of Families of People with Mental Illness (FEAFES).

He has received numerous awards the Gold Medal of the Spanish Foundation for Psychiatry and Mental Health (FEPSM), the National Award for Best CERMI associative path and the Golden Cross of the Civil Order of Social Solidarity.

He was also with the party Cantonal councilor between 1979 and 1991.

And he served as deputy mayor during the last term in which he participated, and the opposition in the past.

By the coincidence of the municipal elections, the prize is decided in late 2011, hence the delay in delivery.

The award has been granted every year uninterruptedly, for 40 issues.
