The Local Government Committee this morning approved a multi-annual expenditure of 5,740,000 euros, for the procurement of cleaning municipal public buildings, which the municipal government expects to save around 600,000 euros over the next two years.
As explained by the Spokesperson of the government team, Francisco Espejo, through the new contract will be unified into one the various contracts that exist today and will be reduced from four to two years, the execution time.
This will lower the rate of bidding 10 percent and save about 600,000 euros.
In addition, the councilman explained, this measure will increase competition between companies and is expected a significant improvement in their financial bids.
Another point to note is that the statement will include the cleaning of more buildings, as they have built new facilities or opened up recently, so the savings will be more obvious.
VACANCIES IN SANTA FLORENTINA And GISBERT
The Governing Board has also approved this morning the bidding of vacant municipal markets of Santa Florentina and Gisbert.
If the street is Santa Florentina tender will be taken to a place, while in Gisbert may be eligible for the award of 14, including the cafeteria.
Councilman Safety, Trade and Old Town, Mariano Garcia, said that the City wants to address most of the posts of this market, which has been refurbished recently.

TAXI INDUSTRY SUPPORT
Another of the resolutions adopted by the Governing Board has been granted a subsidy of 15,000 euros to the Association of Autonomous Workers Cartagena Taxi and Shire.
As pointed out by the government spokesman, Francisco Espejo, the cab is an industry that is experiencing the crisis very closely and that t he City Council wants to continue to support.
