The program TL A (Alternative Leisure) of the Youth Council, organized in collaboration with the Astronomical Society of Cartagena, a course in Astronomy.
Classes will be held from 20 February to 28 March and will be on Mondays and Fridays from 20 to 21.30 hours at the Naval School of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (Paseo Alfonso XIII).
Students will learn general concepts about astronomy, constellations, telescopes management, planets, satellites, and spacecraft stellar wildlife are among the main topics to be treated.
The course also have a practical part. During 4 nights, students will learn the solar system and deep sky and attend a solar observation use the planisphere, handle instruments of observation, practice using astroinformática and astrophotography.
The registration fee is 5 euros and can be done in the Youth Resource Centre Monday to Friday from 9 to 14 and from 17 to 20. College students can obtain a free elective credit.
