More hands to care for dependent people (14/12/2011)

Councilman employment, Diego Ortega, and SEF Deputy Director General, Rafael Olivares, were presented today at the Palace Hall diplomas to students who have been part of ADA Employment Workshop (Attention in the Classroom Unit) which , over a year, has trained 40 unemployed people enter the job market.

With a duration of 1,920 hours of teaching, including theoretical and practical work, the course has achieved its goal of being in the care of dependent persons, particularly in the Vocational Training Personal Skills and Social Self, to adapt to a social reality that grows as the number of older people requiring care, as highlighted Diego Ortega.

Workshop participants have made their practices at the College of Special Education Early Lopez, PROLAM Occupational Center and Senior Residence Virgen del Mar, and for this, the ADLE has signed cooperation agreements with the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment, the Messengers of Peace Association and Astus Association (Guardianship of the Person with Disability).

In addition to specific training in caring for dependents, are also taught subjects related to occupational risk prevention, information technology, gender equality, environmental awareness, job search and start-ups, with trips also for training as a complement of it.

The certificate is now the students have been working, has the number of hours and the level of theoretical and practical training modules purchased and taken.

Employment & Training "N HAND

Employment Workshops such as the ADA, which is funded by the Agency of Local Development and Employment of Cartagena City Council, the Regional Employment Service and Training of the Autonomous Community of Murcia, the Ministry of Labour and the European Union, through the European Social Fund, are included in measures to support job creation and are configured as a mixed employment and training for unemployed 25 to 54 years.

Through these actions, the participants acquire professional training workers and labor practice by carrying out works or public utility or social interest related to new sources of employment, allowing subsequent job placement both for others and through the creation of projects business or social economy.

The ALDE, besides promoting the ADA employment workshop, the girls hire workers and managers and teaching of it and organize and oversee its development, supports the employability of participants through the presentation of the project companies sector dependent care and counseling services work and business, to facilitate their recruitment and promotion of self-employment initiatives.
