The countdown to the celebration of Children's XIII Olympics which will bring together more than six hundred students in Preschool and Primary schools of Our Lady of the Sea, Hasdrubal and Hannibal, located in Santa Lucia, The Campaign and the Matthew, respectively.
The event will be held from 7 to 10 November between 10 and 13 pm in the Municipal Sports Pavilion Santa Lucia and is organized by the Municipal Social Services City of Cartagena, in collaboration with the Department of Sports and Infrastructure, the three participating schools, as well as IES Mediterranean and several corporate sponsors.
The aim of the XIII Olympiad Children focuses on promoting a fun and convivial space between schools in different neighborhoods.
This form is designed to teach positive attitudes and respect for peers through participation in sports activities, while encouraging school children about the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
By Social Services, this activity is embedded within the activities aimed at prevention of behaviors that result in social exclusion among children and adolescents.
It is essential to instil in children values ​​such as teamwork, sportsmanship and camaraderie through sports.
