End gateway district's office will cost 300,000 euros Conception (28/10/2011)

The Local Government Board, which met this morning with an ordinary, under the chairmanship of the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, has approved an allocation of costs amounting to some 300,000 euros to be used in the completion of the footbridge that connects the street Doctor Luis grille with the doctor's Barrio de la Concepción.

As you may recall this bridge, which has its bubblegum pink, was built in 2010, through E Plan funds, and had not yet been able to enter into service owing to the need to undertake some additional works, such as ramps access, placement of a safety railing, lighting and completion of the pavement.

Its main role will be to improve communication pedestrian area with Alameda Barrio de la Concepción, especially at the root of the conversion of office at the health center, through the expansion of existing facilities that will cover care to patients residing on the other side of the Rambla de Benipila.

KIOSK AND CAFETERIA IN THE ESPLANADE AND REEL

The Local Government Board has also approved two separate call for public tenders for awarding the exploitation of entertainment in the park of La Rambla and a coffee bar in the Archaeological Park of Windlass Hill.

In the case of La Rambla Park will be tendered the installation of a kiosk, while in the Archaeological Park will be offered publicly windlass operation of the small cafe that has enabled close to the playground for a period of four years.

Finally, and among other matters, the board gave its approval to the signing of an agreement between the Regional Energy Agency of the Region of Murcia and the City for implementation of a protocol to reduce consumption energy in the municipality of Cartagena.

Through this protocol will be a study of consumption and develop specifications for the services of companies that provide, for example better use of public lighting facilities, with significant energy savings.
