Three new volunteers Europeans arrive in Cartagena (04/10/2011)

Youth Councillor has welcomed the three young men from France, Hungary and Poland, which until August 2012, develop activities Implica2 programs, Bolsa Language or caring for the elderly

The new course at the Youth Department is underway and a year has been welcoming young people who make up the initial group of European volunteers do their European Voluntary Service for a year in Cartagena.

Youth Councillor, Ruth Collado, has been commissioned to receive the three young men at the headquarters of Youth Space.

Students come from Hungary, France and Poland, are aged between 18 and 30 years, and they will do their volunteering in programs such as Implica2, Bag Languages ​​and the Public Service Board for Older People, until next August 1, 2012 .

European Voluntary Service, funded by the European Youth in Action program allows young people to develop a volunteer project, collaborating with local organizations selflessly while representing a personal enrichment, cultural and linguistic.

You can join any youth aged between 18 and 30 years, regardless of their background, as long as legally resident in a country participating in the program or in a partner country.
