Manifesto international day of peace (21/09/2011)

The International Day of Peace held for the thirtieth time this year.

In 1981 the Day was established pursuant to resolution 36/67 the General Assembly of the United Nations to coincide with its opening session every September.

Later, in 2001, the General Assembly voted unanimously to set September 21 as a day of nonviolence and cease-fire in its resolution 55/282 to observe the Day

The International Day of Peace, observed each year on September 21, is a global call for ceasefire and nonviolence.

From New Generations of Cartagena Popular Party we are committed to constantly improve the ways of understanding, putting light where others see the threat of what is different or the unknown and trying to get there a future in which the only battle that deserves to be gained is the of peace and freedom.
