52 000 tourists visit Cartagena on 40 cruises to the end of the year (02/09/2011)

The port of Cartagena awaiting the arrival of nearly 52,000 tourists who will call on board about forty ships during the second season of cruises from September to December.

As indicated by the Councillor for Tourism, Palazón Carolina, Cartagena is within the circuit of Mediterranean cruises that are fired from this date when other tourism offerings such as Northern Europe or Alaska shorten their seasons by the weather.

is one of the regular cruises in the port of Cartagena.

The Liberty will stop in Cartagena on Sunday October 30 with 3634 passengers on board.

The pier will receive this giant sea of ​​spectacular dimensions: 160,000 tons, a length of 340 meters and a width of 40 meters, and dramatic price: build it cost about $ 800 million.

Other large ships of Royal Caribbean also see again at the port in October, as the Mariner of the Seas and Voyager of the Seas, 311 meters long and about 138,000 tons, which are among the ten world's largest cruise ship.
