Begin rehabilitation of the ladder of the Sea Wall (31/08/2011)

This morning they started the rehabilitation of the stairs of the Sea Wall, with the aim to curb the weakening of the structure, provide security, and return to the aesthetics of this work built by the architect Victor Beltrí in 1914.

The restoration work was awarded to the company Pavasal SA in April with a budget of EUR 161,084.84 and a deadline of four months.

The definition of flat work began in July and this morning the workers have begun work on the staircase, giving access to the Paseo de Alfonso XII and is an architectural added to the Wall of Carlos III, declared of Cultural Interest (BIC).
