XVIII National Song Festival Mill Derribao Spanish (11/08/2011)

The town of Cartagena Derribao Mill houses a year the National Festival of Spanish song, which celebrates its eighteenth edition 19 and August 20, and will also have a pre-gala for Lorca, to be held Saturday August 13.

The ticket price is 10 euros and the full collection will go to rebuilding the town of Lorca.

As for the contest, a total of ten participants from all over Spain, especially Andalusia, will vie for the top five, with prize money ranging from 600 to 3,000.

Thus, the first prize winner will get $ 3,000 and Silver Mill, the second prize is 1,800 euros, the third of 1,000, the fourth 800, and the fifth prize of 600 euros.

The festival itself will start on Friday 19 August, with the proclamation of Palma's Inaugural, José Sánchez Conesa, a specialist in the history of the Campo de Cartagena, followed by qualifying and the performance of Rocío Luna, winner of the Melon Gold last year in Lo Ferro.

Another great singer, Rocio Marquez, who won the Mining Lamp 2008 in The Union shall be responsible for putting the festival's finale on Saturday 20, which will take place in the finals and awards ceremony with the presence of Councillor Celebration, Florentina Garcia Vargas.

The National Song Festival is organized by the Spanish Association of Residents of Mill Derribao, in collaboration with the Department of Celebrations of the City of Cartagena.
