The Municipal Fire Fighting Firefighter Cartagena suffocated in the afternoon yesterday, Monday August 1, a fire originated in a garage in the street in the neighborhood Garellano Jose Maria Lapuerta.
The fire broke out at the 20.10 hours in the afternoon on two motorcycles parked in the basement for three buildings of the residential block Sicily.
The troops proceeded to Fire evict the residents because of the large amount of smoke coming out of the garage and the fire of other vehicles.
In about 1 hour and 45 minutes were able to control the fire, proceeding to the basement and ventilation of the houses affected by smoke.
Finally, residents were able to return to their homes but keeping the doors closed to the homes from the garage during the night to support the total dispersion of smoke, as recommended by the Fire Department.
