Councillor for Infrastructure, Francisco Espejo, will come on Thursday July 7 to monitor the work of transport and positioning of the two new pieces that form the basis of the pedestrian walkway of the Barrio de la Concepción, which reach the bridge to 11 00 hours.
As it did last week with the first two parts, the company will be transported from TAMAR La Rambla Asomada to Benipila.
The transfer will start at 8.30 hours of the morning touring the F35 to the Beaza Cabezo Industrial Estate, along the avenue Luxembourg to the A 30, Paseo de Alfonso XIII, Menéndez y Pelayo, to the bridge.
Due to the size of the pieces in excess of five meters wide, during the journey will occupy two lanes.
Once on the bridge, will be deposited by crane in the bed of the wadi.
These works will take place between 10.30 and 13.30 hours in the morning about time that the bridge of Barrio de la Concepción remain closed to traffic to facilitate the work of operators.
As expected, the operation will end before noon to restore traffic and clear the bridge ahead of the departure of personnel Navantia and Military Arsenal.
The two pieces that are installed tomorrow form the basis for future walkway and be joined with existing ones.
The only part that would fail to reach the arch, so that the bridge is expected to be fully completed in late July or early August.
