Some thirty people have participated since last April at the Pottery Workshop and Modeling for seniors, organized by the Municipal Social Services.
The course ended on Friday June 24 with a closing ceremony in the halls of the ground floor of the Miraculous, which has been developed.
For three months they have worked hand of the sculptor Juan Jose Quiros Illan, which have been introduced into the world of sculpture and modeling.
Workshop students, mostly women, have completed the course very satisfied and have learned the process by which gives the right shape to a product, based on a real model, or of an ideal.
Quirós classes have used the three basic modeling techniques such as modeling by hand, mold or lathe, but mainly we have worked with the first two.
The workshop is part of the activities of the council of Elders of the Social Care, through the Municipal Institute of Social Services.
