Local Police seized a total of 418 articles that were destined for street vendors, during an operation early Sunday May 29 in Pozo Estrecho.

The intervention came after witnesses alerted police to the presence of a man with several bags and a backpack full of items intended for illegal sale.

The implied 36-year-old from Mauritania was surprised by the agents, that after the inspection of the bags found many objects of imitation, as well as copies of DVDs and CDs for recording music and movies illegally.

Among the products seized include a total of 187 CDs and 176 DVDs, 27 sunglasses and 28 different brands of counterfeit slips also for street vending.
