Local Police Volunteers in Cartagena Lorca (13/05/2011)

Local Police Forty-five volunteers of the City of Cartagena, belonging to the NGOs involved, have moved between yesterday and today to Lorca to assist in surveillance, after the earthquake that devastated the city last Wednesday afternoon.

Last night the actors were 23 volunteers who traveled to Sun City, along with an agent and a regular service after which a board of six vehicles were patrolling and serving the needs of those affected to seven this morning, has been relieved.

This morning Lorca split equally to 18 officers and two ends, volunteers from NGOs and free service that will support the conclusion of the state funeral for the victims, which is due to attend the Prince and Prime Minister Zapatero.

More architects and quantity surveyors S TO INSPECT BUILDINGS

In the early hours of this morning have gone also to Lorca 13 municipal technicians (five to eight surveyors architects), a board of seven vehicles, and is responsible to assist in inspections being carried out to determine the damages they have suffered buildings following the earthquake.

It will be recalled that work together to care for sufferers, is one of the priorities as it seeks to assess how homes can be occupied by new and which have been seriously damaged in its structure.
