Art Hotel becomes the fifth floor of a gallery vanguard NH (12/05/2011)

The IV Art Fair, organized by the Festival Much More May, will bring together between Friday 13 and Sunday May 15 at ten galleries that display paintings and sculptures using all the hotel spaces: bathrooms terraces, roofs and walls

From Friday 13 to Sunday, May 15 rooms and terraces on the fifth floor of the Hotel NH Cartagena in ten will become art galleries showcase the latest trends in this fourth edition of ART HOTEL, the festival's art fair Mucho Mas Mayo.

The councilors of Culture, Rosario Montero, and Youth, Ruth Collins, along with the curator of the exhibition, Belén Orta, and representatives of some participating galleries, as presented this morning the details of the IV Art Fair Hotel.

Ten galleries inside and outside the region will show the works of established and new artists within the NH hotel.

The inauguration of the IV Hotel Art Fair is Friday 13 at 19.00 hours at Hotel NH Zamora Mayor Street, in the presence of the Mayor of Cartagena, Pilar Barreiro, accompanied by the councilors of Education, Rosario Montero and Youth, Ruth Collado.

OPENING TO THE PUBLIC

The public opening hours of the Fair will start on Friday, May 13, 19 to 23 hours, Saturday from 11.30 to 14 and from 16.30 to 24 hours, and Sunday from 11.30 to 14 hours .

ROUNDTABLE AND EXHIBITION "N DEVELOPMENT: NEWS OF THE FAIR

Two key developments will seek to enshrine the success of this fourth edition of Art Hotel.

On Saturday 14 May at 10:00 hours, there will be a panel discussion titled Synergy in the Arts that will allow curators, critics, representatives of the Administration and artists discuss the distance between the public and the art and importance cultural managers both public and private.

Art Hotel is also proposed, with the cooperation of the NH hotel chain in Cartagena, a joint exhibition at the newly opened NH Campo de Cartagena on Citadel Street.

Titled A window of hope, the NGO Action Baobab displays your project to Assist Children in Madagascar, "The Children's House."

This exhibition will be open on Saturday 14 between 11:00 and 22:00 and Sunday 15 between 11:00 and 15:00 hours.

The launch and presentation of the project will take place on Saturday 14 at 13:00.

In addition, this exhibition will be accompanied by a tasting of a top and a drink featuring the invitation they will receive in Arth-Hotel, IV Art Fair.
